More Nativity Books

While I was stacking my Christmas books against the wall, I came across more on the Nativity.
I thought I had more when I photographed the first lot!

Below is another favourite. It's simply called "Christmas" and it is the King James version with pictures by Jan Pienkowski (1984). Black silhouettes against bold striking colour, with lots of gold (gold looks so rich and wonderful in books, doesn't it?) and ample decoration around the words. Rather like a modern day version of illuminated manuscripts.

I've been busy taking photos of other decorations, so I'll post them next.

Don't forget to check out the Christmas blog decorators, listed on the right, then go and vote on Soozii's blog.

  1. I also tried to buy some silver lamata but with no luck. They had every other color. So I had to settle for some holographic lamata. Color is opaque white with greens, blues, yellows, pinks depending on the angle it is viewed.
