I decided to really put my thinking cap on for this one and made a few rules for myself.
1) I was not going to use photos of me, taken by other people, unless I had set them up with a specific concept in mind.
2) The photos had to convey an aspect of how I saw myself, rather than a clear image of me.
It has taken me nearly all month to work out what to do, so was a real challenge. Admittedly, part of that month, I didn't even think about the challenge. Pity really, because it was a time that would probably have shown other sides to me.
Anyway, here are my photos. I have stepped over the line in that I have more than three, but I'm taking advantage of the fact that I could have been posting these during the month, and simply chosen my favourite 3 at the end.
How I see Me:
a night owl...
a dreamer...
scattered and messy...
soft hearted...
keeper of secrets...
an optomistic survivor
a wannabe rebel... (bright violet/red dyed hair - this is my fringe)
sometimes mysterious...
an observer...
an observer...
reflective (still waters run deep)...
an unfinished project...
*The owl is a photo of a portion of a painting by Shirley Bennetts.
