Productive?

Ok, I haven't turned them into quilts yet, but I have made these quilt tops since the end of June. :)
I have also started a few others, but I keep getting distracted from them, so they sit in my "workin on" pile. Note: They are not yet UFOs. lol

This one was made from a roll of 2.5" strips (not Moda). The light was too bright when I photographed this one, so the colours aren't showing up too well. In reality, they are a rich chocolate, the aqua is more intense, and the little flowers are deep crimson and pretty lolly pink. After I posted this pic on FB, I realised one row had gone in upside down! The majority of my commentors decided it should stay that way as a deliberate design, but I haven't decided as yet.

This next one is a gift for my daughter and son-in-law as a house warming gift for their new home.....in Mauritius! They head there next month and I am going to miss them terribly... especially my darling Grandson.
It is made with 4 Moda charm packs of  batiks called Kapalua. It's lovely and bright - just what Daughter has in mind for decorating in her new residence. I can't wait to get this one quilted and bound. I'm debating whether to get it done edge to edge professionally or doing it myself. I'm not sure my hand and arm are up to that much quilting yet, though.

I used some leftover squares to make this comfy squishy cushion to match....

Then, there is this one..... a jelly roll of Moda's Etchings went into this one, with some lovely matching grey for the border. Again, the light is being a nuisance, but I have very few places to take pics atm, as we are still somewhat crowded with Son, Daughter-in-law and Granddaughter living with us and storing everything here until they move into a place of their own. I don't even have floor space to use as a design wall!

  1. Beautiful quilt tops Lindy. You have been busy since June. Do you get to have a visit in their new home? It will certainly be a lovely keepsake for them.
